The Tourlio roadmap.

What the system does today, and where it is going. We show the order of the work rather than invented calendar dates — that leaves room for getting it right instead of chasing a deadline.

Done

  • Dispatch

The week grid shows who drives where and warns about absences, wrong weekdays and a vehicle booked twice. Drivers step in or take over on their own.

  • Capture and receipts

Counts, odometer readings, receipt photos and notes go into the system straight after the shift; corrections are logged.

  • Monthly statement

Frozen PDF statements, bulk release for the whole month, and the export for the Treuhänder (Swiss fiduciary) as CSV or Excel.

  • Social deductions, net pay and withholding tax

AHV/IV/EO, ALV, NBU, BVG and KTG with the values that apply for the year, the employee’s and the employer’s share kept apart; withholding tax at source from the official ESTV tariffs, resolved per driver, with a suggestion for the tariff code — and the net pay that follows from them.

  • The wage year

Wage account, salary certificate, the three annual declarations for AHV, UVG and BVG, accounting entries for your bookkeeping and the payment file for the bank.

+ 7 more finished features
  • Pay models, supplements and deductions

Five pay models — per parcel, fixed, fixed plus variable, commission, hourly —, plus supplements and deductions, global or different for individual drivers.

  • Tours and prices

The system knows the weekdays and service periods of every tour and keeps a price history per parcel category.

  • Absences

Holiday requests with a decision, sick reports with a medical certificate, shortening and withdrawing — with a warning about affected assignments.

  • Payroll scope, team and archive

Three scopes that hide what a business does not need; four roles from the owner to the accountant; and 90 days after the contract ends to take everything with you as a ZIP.

  • Vehicles and live map

Vehicles with keeper and odometer readings; the live map shows running assignments and routes driven — only with the driver’s consent.

  • Statistics

Revenue, pay and tours over the year, per employee and with the previous year, plus the evaluation by tour.

  • Admin web and subscription

The workspace on the computer with every area, settings with a light and a dark theme, and the subscription paid through PostFinance Checkout: TWINT, card, QR invoice.

In progress

  • Native driver app

A standalone app for iOS and Android — steadier camera, faster entry, positions without a signal, push notifications.

  • Finishing the tracking

The deviation between the route driven and the odometer readings reported stands on the assignment. What is open is when it should stand out — and how it reads across many assignments.

Planned

  • Reminder for the forgotten finish

A push notification in the evening while an assignment is still running — so the admin has nothing to complete at month-end.

  • Barcode and QR scanner

Scan parcels in the app instead of counting them: the count per category builds itself as you deliver.

  • Automatic tour optimisation

Suggested stop order from the routes actually driven — as help for the driver, not as a rule.

  • More languages

Admin web and app in French, other languages later — drivers see the interface in their own language.

What is being built right now

A closer look at the two items currently in progress.

Driver app for iOS and Android

Today drivers reach Tourlio through the browser on their phone, and that stays possible. The native app adds a steadier camera for expense and fuel receipts, buffers positions when the connection drops for a moment on the road, and receives push notifications.

The same as today in the browser — with a camera that does not give up, and it holds through a dropped connection.

Finishing the tracking

The live map is built: whoever is on the road is on the map, a click shows the route. The comparison is there as well, on the assignment — the route driven against the odometer readings reported, as a bare figure beside the duration and the gaps in reception. What is open is the yardstick: nowhere is it decided at which point a deviation is too large, and nobody reads it across several assignments.

Live map in the admin web: map of the Zurich Oberland with two driver markers in frame and the route of one of them drawn in blue, above it the counters “3 on the road, 0 of them without a signal” (in German).
Three drivers on the road, all three with a signal — and the route of one of them since six in the morning on the map.

Something missing from the roadmap?

Tell us what your business is short of. We build Tourlio for small and mid-sized courier companies — what several of them need stands a good chance.

Every suggestion gets an answer: whether it goes on the roadmap, and if so, where. We promise an order, not a date.
